Before and After as of Now

All my life I had struggled with my weight problem, and genetics plays a small part in all of it. There was always pressure in school or a few family members who were always talking about big people like it was the worst sin in the world. My grandmother used to say "unfortunately you take after the Bode side of the family". The Bode side of the family consists of the majority being big boned and hefty. Now not all my family on that side was big. The other side of my family were pretty thin and were able to maintain that weight until they got older, got married, or for one reason or another gained it. This picture on the left side was taken in Florida in December 2012, the picture on the right was taken on June of 2013. My face has gotten thinner, it shows in various places where I have lost a little bit of weight. This is not my target weight and I plan to keep going until I reach it! I figured I'd post a few pictures so as time went by I could tell the difference.

I revamped a lot of my life in the last month.
  1. I made the commitment to lose weight
  2. Decided negativity should not be in my life and removed what I had
  3. No more sodas
  4. I have the support of my family and wonderful boyfriend
  5. The pool at my mothers house looks more inviting now and I try to do laps a few times a week
  6. Though I am still unhappy where I work, I am also working towards changing that also.
  7. Finishing school is a priority and I am working harder on it
  8. My boyfriend and I are doing well, therefore it makes my days better
  9. Getting up in the morning and staying awake through out the day is no longer a struggle
  10. I am 90% at peace with my life for the first time in years!
I haven't measured myself although it should have been done in order to get a full and rounded picture of how much I've lost but for right now weighing myself every other week is good enough for me because I can still see all the results I am having! The key to losing weight is not just eating right but eating all meals, drinking plenty of water, exercising and if you need an extra bit of help Ace is always there to boost you as a regular part of your pre-work out or as an energy boost.
